UPCOMING EVENTS:
-Monday, 11/9 Cheesecake order forms are due. Please make your checks payable to JPSBPA and write your child's name on the memo line.
- The Entertainment Book Fundraiser is complete. Please return you book or money NO LATER than Monday, 11/9.
- NO PRACTICE ON MONDAY, 11/9. Make sure you hand in your cheesecake form before you leave school!
- Playoff football game will be either Friday, 11/13 or Saturday, 11/14. An announcement will be made by Tuesday.
- CITRUS PICK UP will be Tuesday, 11/17 in the late afternoon.
- Mark your calendar - Tuesday, 11/17 General Parent Meeting, 7:30 pm in the band room. The Disney trip will be discussed along with other band topics. Please join us and received information on Freshman Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Bands and Winter Guard directly from the directors.
- The Food Store Gift Cards will be ending their 2010 trip fundraising on 1/1/10. All gift cards sold after January 1st will be credited to the 2011 band trip.
$$ The next $200.00 Trip Deposit is due on December 1st!

Thank you Marching Hawks for a wonderful marching band season! THANK YOU to Dean, Mr. Z, Julie, Steve and all the instructors who made this season a huge success. Also, thank you to the chaperones and the award winning Pit Crew for volunteering countless hours to help our children. Only a few more football games to go!
Congratulations to the Marching Hawks for placing 5th in the Northern Championship show on 10/31. The band placed third in Visual Effect. Thank you to all who traveled with us and a special thank you to the parents, family and friends who endured the weather to come and cheer for us!
Congratulations to the Marching Hawks on a job well done. The Band brought home a Fourth Place Trophy in Group 6 at the NJ State Championships and placed second in Overall Effect and Color Guard. Thank you to all the family and friends who came to the show to support the band. We hope to see you on Saturday in Allentown, PA.

Congratulations once again to the Marching Hawks for bringing home the First Place Trophy in Group 6, Best Music, Best Effect and Overall First Place at the Edison HS show. A special congratulations to the parents for their Best Pit Crew Trophy. Thank you to all the parents who helped us this weekend.

Congratulations on an amazing weekend! It started on Friday night with a great half time show, then the Marching Hawks competed in their third competition at South Brunswick HS (in the fog) on Saturday and came home with 1st place in Group 6 and 1st place OVERALL! Sunday, the Marching Hawks hosted their home show. A glorious sunny day and a fantastic show. Thank you again to all the parents for coming out and supporting the kids!
Congratulations to the Marching Hawks on their second competition at Piscataway HS. Despite the continuous rain, the band performed a wonderful show. The band returned with a third place trophy, only .9 from first place. Thanks to all the parents who endured the weather to bring the equipment on and off the field. We truly appreciate your help!
Congratulations to the Marching Hawks on their first competition at the Scotch Plains/Fanwood show. The band came home with 6 trophies; Best Color Guard, Best Music, Best Visual, Best Effect, First Place in Group 6 and the Mayor's Trophy for Best Overall Band!
