UPCOMING EVENTS:
- Tuesday, 12/1 - Winter Guard Tryouts will be held at 3:00 pm.
$$ The next $200.00 Trip Deposit is due no later than this Tuesday, December 1st! Please make out your checks to JPSBPA and remember to write your child's name on the memo line.
- Saturday, 12/12 JPS is hosting the Concert Band Region tryouts.
- Wednesday, 12/16 is the Holiday Concert. Freshman Band, Concert Band and the Wind Ensemble will all be performing. Please join us for a wonderful evening of holiday music. The concert starts at 7:00 pm in the auditorium.

The Food Store Gift Cards will be ending their 2010 trip fund-raising
on 1/1/10. All gift cards sold after January 1st will be credited to
the 2011 band trip.
$$ The FINAL Trip Payment will be due no later than 1/26/10. There will be a meeting in the band room from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. You may drop off your checks and medical forms. Band directors and chaperones will be available to answer any questions. Final payment amounts and medical forms will be mailed to your home the second week of January.
- March 9, 2010 A mandatory parent, chaperone and student meeting for the band trip will be held in the cafeteria at 7:30 pm. The trip itinerary will be discussed and all your last minute questions will be answered.

Thank you Marching Hawks for a wonderful marching band season! THANK YOU to Dean, Mr. Z, Julie, Steve and all the instructors who made this season a huge success. Also, thank you to the chaperones and the award winning Pit Crew for volunteering countless hours to help our children. Only ONE more football game to go!

November. Other Music Department dates are through June 2010. (not
included are Jazz competitions, Wind Ensemble and Winter Guard dates)
